If you mean Communion- it would have been twice a year (usually spring and autumn).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hi Aghadowey

Thank you for your very fast answer.

Would you know if there are any records for the Magilligan Church and how  l can view them
[ Communion records  ] around 1814  or do they start before this time ?

What you are looking for are called the Communcants Roll- usually will just list a date and names of the communcants. Not sure what exists for Magilligan Presbyterian Church but perhaps someone else will know.

Hi

Thank you for your help

Now l can see if the LDS has filmed the Communicants Rolls for Magilligan Presbyterian Church around 1814 and upwards.

We have found Priscilla Moody and her children listed  at the" Lords Supper" in 1814 as well as a Ann Moody and her children

Both Lady's are listed as widows

I was thinking that if l can keep checking each year and then when they didn't show up it may be a date to start checking the death records or cemetery records

thank you

Oops, Didn't realise that the site had a timer!!!
Go to HOME at the bottom of the Timed Out page. Enter Magilligan Presbyterian Church in the ANY TEXT box and search. This will show what records are available for the church.
