Hi Janinez ,

Thanks for the reply  and have  searched    the   family   and now interested in any surviving children and background if possible. I am particularly in Arthur Walter WLLIS as  I am aware I am related .

Your information does fill a couple of the background answers to Ellen Willis so many thanks.

I have a George Willis (born circa 1870, Hammersmith UK), in my family tree. His parents are my great-great grandparents.
Would you please clarify if this is the same George Willis that is your Arthur Willis' father.
If it is, I do have some information about the family.

Dear John,
Thank you for responding to my post. My great-grandfather is the the brother of George Willis, (born circa 1870 in Hammersmith, UK). That would make George's son Arthur, the nephew of my great-grandfather. Perhaps your father is not the same Arthur Willis, (son of George Willis), but if you care to share his military records, it would be very much appreciated. My great-grandfather emigrated to Canada in 1891, (as a child, with Barnardo's), and he lost contact with his remaining brothers in the UK.
I sure hope you have success locating information about your birth father ..... it would be nice to have that closure.
Very Kind Regards,
Cathy
