Hi
it just a y for the 1841 born in this county
but 1851 has Wales and somebody's tree have 1815 Willenhall

his 2nd marriage was to
Ann Fiedhouse
17   406   wolverhampton

Ann was born Ann Wedge and married John Fieldhouse in 1835

Donna

I would think that the Wales is a mistake for Willenhall, not checked it myself, just a passing thought.................Linell.

if she married pre Thomas Perry then she would have married again under the Perry surname also the Thomas Perry marriage is circa 100 years too early  ;D

Hi Sandra,
I hope this is of help - sorry if I'm repeating what others have posted.

Ann Wedge is my 3rd Grt Grandmother and was born/bap 3rd April 1814 in Bilston Staffs.

She married John Fieldhouse (my 3rd Grt Grandad), a mining engineer, 8th June 1835 and I think they had six children - John, Lash (?!), Mary Jane, Richard (my 2nd Grt Grandad), Sarah and William.

John died 9th February 1846 when he drowned in a mining accident.

Ann was remarried to Thomas Perry on 14th June 1847 in Bilston. I am not sure if they had children together. Thomas was also a miner and they moved up country to Dalton in Cumbria probably because there was plenty of  work in the iron ore mines in the area. They settled in nearby Barrow-in-Furness.

It took me ages to work it all out!

I am not sure if Thomas Perry was previously married or had any children from a previous marriage.

Anne appears on the following census:
1841 - with Samuel Wedge, her brother
1851 - wife, Highfield Street, Bilston, Staffs
1861 - housekeeper, Cheapside St, Bordesley, Aston, Warwickshire
1871 - housekeeper, Dalton Rd, Barrow-in-furness
1881 - Hawke St, Barrow-in-Furness
