There's no such street listed in 1901 directory for Belfast-

Checked 1901 census and there's no Bowling Street listed in any county- if you have names of people you can try checking 1901 and 1911 census by name-

Perhaps check and see if your friend has the name wrong.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
