Is there a way of finding out
« on: Wednesday 13 April 05 15:30 BST (UK) »
The details of a death certificate. The thing is i only have little information to go on.

Sarah Jacobs born 1888 London, her parents are called Issac and Janette Jacobs. As far as i am aware Sarah never married.

I think she died between the years of 1964 - 1967 in Selly Oak Birmingham

Any details would be good if this is possible.

Sarah

Hi Sarah

You can search the indexes to the birth,  marriage, death indexes at http://www.1837online.com (pay per view) - this is ok if she didn't marry and change her surname.

If you find a likely entry, you can then order a certificate (£7)

Difficult to find exact one as Isaac will only be 13 and living with parents.  Don't suppose you have his parents names?  Unfortunately him just saying London as his place of birth in 1901 is a bit too vague and I couldn't find them 1891  ???

I would say that's a bit of leap from what you have.  From searching for Jacobs in 1881 and 1891 I noticed that there were many internationals, especially Eastern Europeans.  Would this be a surprise?
