Can SKS with access to a 1905 directory of Northern Surrey please identify one of the Cooper family residing at:
"Chandos"
Hampton Road
Twickenham
They were not there in 1901.

Hi Geoff

I do not have the directory you mentioned but did a search in the 1911 census and although there are many Coopers in Twickenham at that time none appear to live in Hampton Road.  Do you have a specific name?

A small point but may be important is that Twickenham is not in Northern Surrey but in Middlesex.

You have hit on the problem - I don't have a first name or even an initial.  I need the directory to get that far.
I had always considered twickenham to be in Surrey - but had not realised that it was in Middlesex until after the time I am interested in (and before it vanished into Greater London). 
Now I have to start the search again - but at least I have some new data.
