Can you possibly help to find the following person:
William Brettell (various spellings) born c 1868 Warwickshire.

He is on the 1881:

It is William I am trying to find.

Hi if I have right one in 1901 he is Waiter married to a Maria with children on Census Ref RG13/2861/91/39

Yes, you are correct. Actually, I did see this one, but dismissed it as I saw 'Dorset' as birth place, which threw me, also I was looking for the same occupation as on the previous census - not a good thing to do:(
But what finally clinched it and told me you were right, was the address, being Cooksey Road, (which was where I used to live years ago:) and the family Brettell's married into, was my maiden name family of Wakeman/Owen, so I should have looked properly:)
Anyway, any chance of finding him on the 1871 - please???
