On the other hand, George TIPLER could have travelled 2 miles eastwards to Howell and married Sarah BACON 4 Sept 1820.

Thanks for the swift replies thus far, it is the George and Ann shown in the IGI submissions that I am seeking, but I am looking to prove whether the Anwick births are a fact or just theory.

George 52 Evedon and Sarah seem to be in Quarrington in 1851, so that seems to account for the one bap in 1798.

No TIPLER/JENNNINGS marriage in my index either ???

Hi Geoff,
Thanks for that, actually ruling out the 1798 possibility is even more helpfull, especially the lack of a Tipler / Jennings marriage, does your index cover the whole of Lincolnshire ?

In general terms, yes.  I can't guarantee absolutely everything is there though.

Incidentally, re the George 1798 bap ... I had assumed the mother was Leah, but she married as Leake COCK (1791 Ewerby).  Her bap is in the IGI as Leake too. :)
