Hi
Are we to assume that Josephs father remarried to Mary  prior to having James?
Hannam in London, Nottinghamshire and Sheffield
Collins in Staffordshire
Brackenbury, Gurnell and Willson in Lincolnshire and now Nottinghamshire
Marples in Derbyshire and Yorkshire
Heginbotham in Derbyshire

Hi brianz,

Sorry for the misunderstanding. No. Joseph and James have the same parents.

Have you discounted the James Trehern who is a grocer in Droitwich on the 1851 census? HO107; Piece: 2046; Folio: 514; Page: 37

Ok, forget that one, I think there is a James Trehern who is born in Droitwich about the right time.
