George King born about 1831 in Waterford married Kitty
ann Boyd in Sydney Australia 1854. I am unable to find anything on him before this marriage. Is there any help out there??

Waterford can refer to the city or county, and for early records like those of George's baptism you will need to know the family religion and a detailed location (ideally parish) to that you can check what records still exist.
