Hi Robyn,
Yes I have a lot of information on Samuel and his Court Marshall papers. Samuel BROWNETT/NUTT Srn. was a partner of Charlotte PUGH. I also belong to a small group called Edward PUGH and Hannah SMITH Association. They were First Fleet convicts, also Charlotte's parents. I am the official recorder of details for their family tree. I was gathering the Court Marshall papers to be able to prove which Samuel BROWNETT/NUTT was our Samuel. We would be interested in you or your friend looking at our web-site and maybe even joining our group or contributing to our tree. Our site is ffps.org.au Hope this helps or answers your question. Wendy

Hi Wendy,
Thank you for the reply and invitation to your group.  I have the information on Charlotte Pugh and her parents, and siblings.  Have you been able to find the correct death date for Samuel Brownett snr. and Charlotte Pugh.
Robyn.

Hi Robyn, our group is still working on both deaths. A member has made a suggestion re Samuel, but we are still unsure if it is correct. We only vote on things we feel have been proven with more than 2 source documents. Charlotte is still very elusive. Talk she may have gone to NZ with the Guards, or to SA with her son William (Garside) or even followed her older brother Simon to Tas. No one in our group has come forward yet with a possible scenario. Join us and put your suggestions or thoughts forward. We are always looking for new members and new eyes.

Forgot to ask Robyn, are you and the family descendant in Australia?

Hi Wendy,
My friend is the g.g.granddaughter of Samuel Brownett b.1788 London.  Her mother was Ethel Margaret Brownett who married John Lewis Adam.
We both live in Heathcote NSW.  I am not related.  My First Fleet Ancestors were James Bloodworth & Sarah Bellamy.
I sent a message to your group this afternoon.
Robyn.

Hi Robyn
That's great. We do have the family listed in my data base. One of our members, Heather would be her 2nd cousin. This Saturday 14th February, we are holding our meeting at Pugh's Lagoon, Richmond. It is our picnic day. We hold the meeting at 11am and then have lunch and a chat. We are not a big group, but a friendly group. Come along if you can.

Hi Wendy,
Thank you for the invitation for Saturday, but I'm unable to come.
So far I haven't heard from your secretary to the email I sent.  I am quite willing to send money to join or receive the information about Samuel Brownett's Military Records.  Just need to know where to send the cheque.
Regards Robyn.

Hi Robyn, our group gather and discuss the various ancestors. Our main aim is to ensure correct information. The documents regarding the Court Marshall were obtained and paid for by members in the Brownette line. They are not held by our group as such. We have a member, who has been in touch with your friend. Our Secretary has been very busy at present, but I will let her know of your interest. We only have full members, who are direct descendants, associate members who are spouses etc of a full member, and then we have those members who have a connection or interest in our ancestors, but a not a direct descendant. Your friend can join as a full member. You can only join as a friend/associate member. Hope this makes sense.
