Roe family in 1846 St Bees - Bakers Ct and Satwell St ?

Hi 

I`m trying to help a friend out with her family tree.

I ordered a marriage cert but the writing on it is so bad that I`m left guessing a few of the entries  so I was wondering if anyone can help?

Thomas Roe married Jane Brown in January 1846 in the parish of Saint Bees.

Thomas is a mariner and gives his address as... Bakers or Backers Court. Jane`s address was S---well Street (or something like that) Thomas`s father is John Roe, either mariner or miner and Jane`s father is William Brown, with no occupation given.

Can anyone tell me if they recognise either of these street names? or can point me to any online resouces.

there is a barker court in st bees..   can only see it in the 1841 census though...

Quite a large part of the town of Whitehaven came under the Parish of St. Bees in 1846, and given the occupation mariner and or miner, it is maybe more than likely they were in Whitehaven and not the small town of St. Bees as we know it today.
Which church were they married at? If it is St. James, Holy Trinity or St. Nicholas, then they are in Whitehaven.

The couple were married at Holy Trinity so I guess that means Whitehaven not St Bees.

So what I need now is someone with knowledge of the names of the streets of Whitehaven in 1846 

or..... someone with knowledge of where I can find an online map of Whitehaven at that time

searching whitehaven,,,there is also a bacons court in 1841 in the parish of st bee

I too see Barkers Court in 1841 - apparently off Albion Street.

Incidentally, there was a Margaret ROE 1 living there with Joseph ALLAN 66 and family.

My 1830s map of Whitehaven has a Barkers Lane almost opposite the end of Queen Street which is next lane up from Albion St http://tinyurl.com/32s77za

If you look for
William LEWIS 23 in the 1851 census, you'll find what is shown as Barkers Buildings (Holy Trinity) - again, just off Albion St.

The area known named Phoenix Foundry Yard http://tinyurl.com/3aefero is shown on the 1830s map as Mess^rs Barker's.
