These photo's where taken during the conflict at El Alamien I don't know the names of the soldiers, but hopefully someone will recognize them as their loved ones.

Hi angelahutch
My grandad was in the Gorden Highlanders during WW2. I looked at your group photo and could not spot him. I have a complete album he took when he was stationed in Palestine. I have a phase book the soldiers were given so that they could communicate with the locals. I will add my photos to yours when I get my main computer fixed this weekend at the moment it won't connect to the internet
Its lovely to see the photos you have posted so far.

Hi, your post says you have 11 pictures of Gordon Highlanders but I can only see 2. Am I right, or am I doing something wrong to not see them all? Ta

Since my original post I have obtained my grandfather’s army records. He originally started out in the Gorden Highlanders and then was transferred into the RMAC. He was posted to Palestine during the Second World War where he worked as a nurse. So the photos I have are from his time in Palestine and may well be others in the RAMC. At the moment all my family history stuff is packed in storage as we are moving house. But when life returns to normal I will scan them in.
