Hi Nikkie, Welcome to RootsChat! What a lovely picture. Have you thought of posting it on the RootsChat photo restoration board?  They do positively magnificent restoration work there & can give you an idea of when it was taken (if you don't know that). You won't be disappointed!

I would be happy to share the death registration information but I have to find it first.  I think that was around the time that I had a computer crash.  In the meantime, you will need to post a couple of more times so that you can send me a pm.  To send a pm, you need 3 postings and then you click on the green scroll under my name and that allows you to communicate privately with me so that we can exhange email addresses.

Adam, are you still looking for Charlotte's death notice in the Vancouver Sun?  I live in Vancouver and was planning to make a research trip to the library soon so I can get it for you.

I have Charlotte's death registration.....but i dont think i have her death notice? or are they the same thing?? If it is something different then that would be fantastic if you could get a copy:-)

A death notice, if there is one, would be in the local newspaper - usually it's a simple announcement of death but often there is some useful additional information, such as family members, etc.  A death registration, on the other hand, is a form submitted to the BC government in order to obtain an official certificate of death. 

I'll have a look in the Vancouver Sun microfilms for a death notice.
