ROBERTS burials
« on: Tuesday 07 December 10 18:18 GMT (UK) »
I would like to know if anyone might have burials for St. Columb Minor, St. Newlyn East and Perran Church cemetery.
I am looking for information on the following families.
Roberts, Lavin, Goard, Parnell, to name a few.
I am also looking for anyone who might also be researching the Roberts family tree which has Parnell, Dorking, Goard, Hockings in it.
Thanks in advance for anyone who can point me in the right direction.
Sheila ;)

Hi Sheila,

I have the St Columb Minor and Newlyn East records on microfiche. You would need to tell me who you are looking for and when they died.

Cheers Kris  :)

John Roberts born 1800 , not sure of death.
Ethel Roberts died 1893, not sure
Mary Roberts born 1827/29 nee Paull death is under debate. One person thinks it was 1861 and other past 1891.
Modern times.
William Roberts and his wife Barbara
James Henry Roberts and his wife Beatrice Violet ( nee Smale)
Their son, Joseph Henry Roberts date of birth unknown but he died at age 11 August 1941 ( hope that is right)
Family is related to PHILP, Lewarne, to name a few.
But I don't expect you to look those names up.
Wish I could give you better information.
SORRY
Sheila
Thanks for your kind offer.

Hi Sheila,

I'm not home at the mo but you will need to give mean idea of when they died. It is microfiche. It is extremely time consuming. There is no index. You will need to help me. If you have any particular years you want checked I am happy to look. Since most of these are after civil registration I suggest you try FreeBMD for anything which seems likely in St Columb District. (Later ones after 1936 St Austell) Please give me the Year and quarter - I will then be able to tell you if it was in St Columb Minor, Newquay or Newlyn. I am unable to check Perran but happy to check the others. The one you have a date for will be no problem checking.

Cheers Kris  :)
