Mabel Sherrington Culpin married Arthur William Snelling at All Saints, Fulham on 13 Jan 1909. Mabel gives her father's (George Francis) occupation as 'Clerk at H.M. War Office'.

Francis Montford Culpin had a younger sister:-

Verula Mary Elizabeth Culpin
2nd qtr 1906 St Albans 3a 830

If you check the 1911 census they were living in St Albans.

This is all such great work - Thank you all for your help! There is so much information you've given me, but i'm slightly confused...  :-\ So who was Dorothy Worsfold's parents and grand parents?
Thanks again for all your great work :)

For parents / baptism see reply #12 of Tati above.

There is another possible sister for Francis (parents George Francis and Sarah Florence) but this one needs more checking out.

Ivy Annabel Culpin
4th qtr 1897
St Albans 3a 634

and she died (I think):-

1st qtr 1898
Holborn 1b 476

I am assuming that George Francis and Florence Sarah were unable to marry until 1905  as Kate was still alive.  Kate died in 1905 and then George married Sarah later that same year.

Think death date is wrong - there is a baptism for Ivy Annabel on 16 Feb 1899 at Queen Squ, St George the Martyr, Camden

Death date should be 1899, but agree that it is the same person!

Who were Francis' parents/grandparents?

Francis' parents were George Francis Culpin and Florence Sarah (possibly Newman).  They married in 1905 after George's first wife (Kate) died.

Thanks for that Spidermonkey.  You are correct when I checked the original it is 1899.  I thought it didn't seem right when I was typing it because it gave her age as 1.  Should have checked  ::).

Do the parents on the baptism confirm she George and Florence's daughter because I wasn't sure?

PS.  EllieMichelle - you are going to need a diagram to sort this lot out  :D.
