Thanks for that Tati.

I've been searching for the Herbert TG b 1899 and found one in the 1901 census b Branksome Dorset with mother Annie but I might put the search on hold till we sort out this Culpin business.  ;)

Um so it's back to the drawing board ... How do these look?:

Births
Dec 1900
Culpin  Francis De Montford
Wandsworth
1d 746

and

Births
Sep 1900
Worsfold  Ada Dorothy L
Mile End
1c 451

As far as you know Ellie, is this at least the right part of the country?

New thread for Francis De-Montford-Culpin here-
www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=500359.new

Multiple threads asking for details about the same people tend to cause extra work and needless confusion for those trying to help so I'm going to lock other topic.

Also please remember that Rootschat policy does not allow posting details of any living people. Please see the topic below from the Help pages which has links to hints for finding living relatives-

Shall we just continue here?

If Ellie agrees we're on the right track then I can offer this christening:

30 Sep 1900 Christ Church, Stepney, London
Ada Dorothy Louisa Worsfold
parents Harry Worsfold and Ada Annie of 87 Charles Street, father a Police Constable
"My dear, I think the English pronounce it 'appiness"

I'm afraid of no ghost
