Do you have any Robertsons (possibly from Blairgowrie or Dundee) connected to Meldrums from Ferry-Port-On-Craig?
Euphemia Meldrum (family lived in FPOC) married a James Robertson b. 1811 Blairgowrie, son of Robert Robertson and Elizabeth Anderson.
Sorry Lindsay,
I have NO MELDRUM's in my tree at all. I think I have some ROBERTSON's that crossed the Tay to Dundee, but if they did not stay very long if they did!! Alexandrina Halkerston ROBERTSON died in Dundee in 1988, have her as being married 3 times and as far as I am aware she would have been a MORRISON when she died, having finally married James Duthie MORRISON in 1969.Who are your Morrisons please? or rather where? I am a Morrison but I don't think we have any Fife connections unless that is where my brickwalls ended up
Mary MORRISON married Thomas KIRKALDIE sometime before 14 December 1767, probably in or near Kinghorn. Mother of Alexander KIRKALDIE b:14/12/1767. If anyone has any info on Mary or the KIRKALDIE family please give me a shout.
Regards
Andy Stuart
