Here's a link to your post (Ireland-General):
www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=422609.new#new

You can order the marriage certificate to get the full details: date and place of marriage, names residences and occupations of bride and groom, whether or not of full age, marital status, fathers' names and occupations, names of two witnesses, name of officiant.

IGI (www.familysearch.org) has the marriage listed but only gives bride's name, groom's name, date and place 'Ireland'.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

The marriage at emerald was at Downpatricks Registrars Office on 1st March 1847.

When I searched for the marriage at ancestryireland, it gives Michael's fathers name as Andrew, and Elizabeth's father as Robert.

ancestryireland will charge £4.00 for the full details available.

Norrie,
Struell is a townland ( a small administrative area) just east if the town of Downpatrick.

they had left struel by 1863 see www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/index.xml?action=doNameSearch&familyname=&firstname=&offset=20&countyname=&parishname=&parishname&unionname=&baronyname=&totalrows=39&PlaceID=431457&wildcard=
one or two of the properties are marked vacant, all the properties are also marked out on a map of this time, there is an earlier os 6"map about 1830s.

there are manuscript family trees for example CUNNINGHAM in the following vulumes   1p130 Church Hill, 14p209, 15p45, 24p28 Macedon, 52 Down Armagh, 54. in the Blackwood Family history manuscript trees in the LinenHall library, Belfast.  volume 52 might be best possible. I suggest you ask them for photocopying estimates if they think your knowledge relevant and you should be prepared to pay a fee for copying, post and packing, and perhaps some staff time and overheads. However if the material is really relevant when you get it, I suggest a further donation to this unique library that is always needing extra funds .. Linen Hall Library,17 Donegall Square North, Belfast BT15GB, Northern Ireland, Telephone: +44 (0)28 9032 1707,  Fax: +44 (0)28 9043 8586, Email: <irish.reference[at]linenhall.com>.replace the [AT] with the symbol please
they also have
SMITH in volumes 17N Maxwell, 20N, 23, 52 Belfast, 86 Saul Co Down
SMYTH in volumes 7p27 Deerpark, 14p78, 16p192 Deerpark, 21, 27N, 33 Johnson-Smyth

good luck
