Rupert Seymour Cecil Beresford & his three wifes !

Hi there,
I have been working on this line of my family tree for some time, so apologies for anyone reading a similar item a few months back..

Rupert Seymour Cecil Beresford was born in the Chelsea or  Islington ? area in 1907
His first wife was Hilda Stella Lacey in 1927. But she petitioned him for divorce in 1934 and she later married a Henry Jacobs in 1944.
Rupert's second wife was Helen Irene Sherry ( born 1916) ....his third wife was possibly a Joan Willis ?
Rupert later emigrated to New York in 1954...
Ring any bells with anyone ?

He was born in Holborn, by the looks of it (Rupert Seymour C BERESFORD, Sep qtr 1907 Holborn 1b 570).

Is there anything in particular you are hoping to find out?

Hello, Yes, I am hoping his very 'unique' name rings a bell with someone.
I can also find no children.....which does seems very strange ?....a brickwall for me for sometime

So you're not trying to find his parents? (who don't seem to have married one another until 1929)...

Someone who has RSCB in an Ancestry tree attributes 3 living offspring to the Lacey marriage, though various other things about that tree make one wonder about its reliability.

Yes, it does seems a very difficult line to trace.
Fanny Binder and her two illegitemate sons Claude and Rupert are recorded as  living in a posh apartment in 1911.
and she finally marries Rupert Beresford in 1929....?
The poorer side of family talk of Fanny Binder and her family living in a posh house, and giving gifts of food and chocolate.
But I can only find wifes for Claude & Rupert....no further descendants ??
I am always struggling to find a death for Fanny Gertrude Beresford ( nee Beresford)
Any help much appreciated

My father was Rupert Seymour Beresford and I am interested in his previous wives. Rupert died in Kenya in 2007
