Wilhelmina Maud FREEK , per Free BMD birth registered Q4 1873, Durham

1881 Census  RG11 Piece4945 FOlio 166 Page 86, living at Tin Mill Place, Conside Cum Knitsley, Lanchester, Durham Father : WIliam, mother Jane and a whole squad of siblings.

1891 Census RG12 Piece 4091 Folio 22 Page 37, living at 14, Eltringham Street, Conside And Knitsley, Blackhill, Durham Father WIlliam , mother Jane, plus brothers and sisters.

Can't explain the Cancick, but it does seem likely to be your Wilhelmina

Thank you one and all :)

It would appear That George Cancick  adopted  or looked after some or all of the Freek family at some stage.
perhaps through illness or hard times.

Anyway it seems that Wilmelmina took the cancick surname for when she got married.

once again thank you
