Hi all,
New to all of this, trying to trace relatives of a Luke Doolin born in Dublin? Ireland in 1858, died 1922 in Dublin. Married a Jane Cullen? They had 7 children , Michael(1879-??), George(1885-1909), Patrick(1887-??), Paul(1895--1957), Mary Ann(1881-??), Margaret(1884-1934), Jane Ann(1891-??).  All info gladly accepted.

Welcome to Rootschat. It looks as though Luke and Jane actually had 9 children but only 6 were alive by 1911. You can see the 1911 census entry here-

A possible birth match for one of the younger children shown on the 1901 census. If correct it would show Jane's maiden name and might help further searches :

Take a look at the Ellis Island site, it will show Jane (Jennie) arriving in New York aboard Carmania on 8 May 1921 to join her fiance Michael in Baltimore. The link is .......... Ellis Island - Doolin, 1886-1896 Be sure to click on 'view' under the SHIP MANIFEST heading also note the second page is shown first, to see the first page click on next page. The entry also shows her fathers address in Dublin.

Following on from obbie's note about the family tree on ancestry.co.uk, you may be interested to know that it looks as if there may be living relatives in California.

There are, indeed, living family members in California, my husband's family. He is the son of Elizabeth Mary Lawlor, who was Jane Doolin's granddaughter. She had one sister, Jane Ann.
