Bit confused as you said previously that Eliza married Henry Hobbs 1803 but in your last message you said she was baptised 11 June 1809 which is 6 years after her marraige

Just glancing throughthe 1851 census index for Framfield I see there are a couple of Friend Farrants there then.   They did move around a lot though didn't they?  Stanmer, East Hoathly etc.  A long way apart in those days.

I would be interested in details of Friend Farrant on 1851 census l have a Friend Farrant wife Mary daughter Emma daughter Louisa daughter Catherine and daughter Ann but have not found them on the census.

Hello Kaye have found a marraige of Eliza Farrant to Henry Hobbs 23 Oct 1825 at Ringmer parents John Farrant and Elizabeth which fits in with her being baptised 1809.

Thank you very muchfor the census both these are on my tree Abraham farrant was the son of Thomas farrant & Elizabeth Smith and Mary farrant w 45 easons green was the widow of a Thomas farrant Thomas was the son of friend farrant & Ann Thomas  l am grateful for any details is there anything l can help you with? Most of my research is in the north - if you happen to come across a birth for Francis Sill around 1780s then let me know!   I have been looking for 20 years....     I live in Sussex so enjoy doing look ups for an area that I know quite well.

if you should come across baptisms for children of Francis Farrant & Mary Duffill l would be grateful here are names that l need checking John 1778 James 1771 Elizabeth ? Lucy? found this marraige Eliza Farrant to Henry Hobbs 23 Oct 1825 Ringmer this also comes up as 1829 but parents are John Farrant & elizabeth thanks for your help Rita
