I worked for a fruit & veg wholesale company in Hastings by the name of Farrant & Reid they were situated on the Bexhill Road, St Leonards-on-Sea, this was during the late seventies.

Tho I have for Robert and Ann Farrant.. Susanna 29 Jan 1737. I was going through East Grinstead PRs and found I think Robert Farrants BP  1696 and a couple of his siblings. Do you have this?

Here is a breif run down on my Farrants
Thomas Farrant b 1662 married Sarah Ling children were Robert & William
Robert  m Ann Harfield children Thomas 1731, John 1734, Susannah 1737, William 1743 Sarah 1744, Robert 1745, Francis 1746
Francis Farrant m Mary Duffill 1770 at Stanmer and l am looking for their children l know they had a son John but looking for anymore
Thomas Farrant b 1731 m Elizabeth Smith children Friend, Mary, Thomas.William, John, Elizabeth, Abraham & Jethro.

  Thanks for your info. Now I have found a Thomas and Sarah Farrant with a Robert 1696 is this the same family you have. Also have a Thomas and Mary for them. What parish did you find the Thomas Farrant and Sarah Ling.

I found them in East Grinstead and Robert & Mary are all the same family but sometimes name is spelt Farrance or Farrants or even Furrent.

Marraige of Thomas & Sarah was 27th June 1687 but his name is down as Farrance l have found they spelt farrant so many different way's.

Hi all
This is the first time I have used this site. I am interested in Thomas Farrance and Sarah Ling.  Does anyone have a full list of their children as I believe George Pharrance is one of them. I wish they wouldn't keep changing the spelling of the name it make sit so difficult to track.  Also does anyone have the correct birth dates for Thomas and Sarah and does anyone know who their parents are?
