 :) Hi Dee

Please dont feel pressured with your decision.  We are so truly grateful that you purchased the bible and that it didnt end up with a dealer.  Your final decision will honestly be respected.

I am trying to post the photo of Ashley's headstone but without any luck.  Any tips on what I'm doing wrong would be grateful.

As I mentioned the photo (which is not very good) was taken at Colton Cemetry 14 years ago which is a 3 hour drive from Pt Lincoln.  My husband and I had a terrible time trying to find it as it is very small, on top of a hill and through a farm gate. I am still unsure why Ashley moved to Colton but I am trying to find that information out with Mother but prying her for information slowly not to overwhelm her too much. There are quite a few Barns' buried there including my mother's infant brother. Still no luck with photo but will keep trying.

Hi JD,

perhaps your photo file size is too large. It needs to be under 500kb. The following link may help.

This has been a fascinating thread to follow.

Cheers,

:) Hi AussieMumwif4kids (I so love that name!!).

You certainly didnt hurt my feelings and I do appreciate your comments and support.

I'm a strong believer in fate which is I'm sure how my husband by chance came across this site and if anything is to come of this, I have loved learning about my Family tree which as an AussieMumwif3kids, I just havent had time to do. It has also helped my beautiful mum.

My comments to Dee were only to reassure her that that what ever the fate of the Bible, I'm sure will be the right decision.

Im so glad the photo worked!!

JD  :)

 :) Hi Dee

After looking at Ashley's headstone, do you think it's strange that there are no names on it?  I wonder if you have any conection that could help me find out if there was a rift in the family.  I might pry my mother a little.  This is your fault I have become obsessed!!!
