I apologise for any confusion but I fail to see whats wrong with the dates?

Irene was born in 1911 in Essex, her father was William born in 1882, and so on

My great-grandfather's sister, Ellen Russell, married an Alfred Ablett who was born in March in about 1859.

I haven't done any research into that branch of the family yet.

If William's mother was the Charlotte Ablett b 1857 in March then it looks as if Alfred was her brother
