Horn Family Fife Scotland c 1770's help needed

Hi,
I have a David Horn born 1812 Dunfermiline Fife , he married a janet falconer  in 1840 Thurso .I have all about this line downover .I am trying to trace Davids parantage .Davids father was a John Horn and he married a Helen Glass .They married 25th may 1811 in Fife. I am trying to find out who Johns father and mother was .

do you really mean they both married a Helen Glass?? or have you transcribed wrong?

David  horn born 1812 Dunfermiline, Fife , Scotland married Janet falconer in 08 Sep 1840 his father was John Horn who married a Helen glass in 25 May 1811 Dunfermiline, Fife , Scotland .I am trying to find more regards John Horn c1770's

there  are a few possibles on SP but no way of checking which. did david have any siblings  - names may help.

I have only one sibling for david which is ann horn 17 Apr 1814 Dunfermiline, Fife , Scotland.
She is on Batch Number:  7200604 on IGI .I found no further info on her .

looks like john came from Dunfermline.
