there is a west hartlepool newspaper report dated 8th june 1940 on
"missing" reverend william alan lathaen.

I've got that one,He was the grandson of my 2x gt.grandfather,served with the Commandos in ww2.Went missing, then in 1942 ended up p/w camp Stalag xxa.While there he set up an intelligence network .Then after the war he was awarded the MBE for this Regards John
