I'm no expert but I think the upper line is a Chandlers Shop, and the lower one might be a Mantua maker.
Odd mixture, but nothing says they have to work together does it? A Chandlers Shop I would presume would be sailing related - so that won't make sense if they are somewhere totally landlocked - and a Mantua Maker could be a Milliner, in that Mantuas I think are like a lacy headcover - not a hat exactly but the sort of thing that ladies in Spain, Greece etc are seen to wear covering their heads when they go to Mass. It might seem odd in the UK but I'm pretty sure (from a youth misspent reading Georgette Heyer) that would be a perfectly reasonable word / occupation in 1841. Anyone else see something different?
