Deciphering 1841 Census

G'day
If anyone has access to the 1841 Census for what I think is the Workhouse in Gt Oakley Essex, would they please decipher for me the writing in the left hand column next to the entry for James Claxson?
I'm fairly sure it says Work House & then something else that I cannot decipher
My OFFORD family are obviously down on their luck

I think it may be "Workhouse CORNER"

When looking at the description of the enumeration district this is what it reads:

District 14
Essex, Northern Hundred of Tendring
Parish of Great Oakley (part of)
All the West end of the Parish of Great Oakley to the Church, then to the WORKHOUSE CORNER and the houses on both sides of the Pest House Lane to Mr. Corters?? Farm

Cornwall = Palmer, Carnarton, Slack/Smith. Morris/h
Wales, New Quay = James, Evans

Thanks so much for your help - I would never have worked that one out & as I only had that one page, I didn't know any of the info of the District etc

Hi

Dont feel bad its only the name of the Road  It was a very small villlage  Just a few streets  Further on from the workhouse there are Alms Houses  Each Parish looked after their own your family are not listed aas paupers their occupations are shown so they are possibly in tied farm cottages
In 1851 your rellies are still i work and move a little further up the road to Little Beaumont
