Hi,
We are missing a spouse for an auntie of mine, Mary Wornes married Rodney Armour Butt [ born 1871 Albury NSW, parents John and Helen] in Victoria 1907, their daughter Rebecca born in albury 1908.

No sign of Rodney after that but Mary remarries in 1915, as Mary Wornes, spinster, to Thomas Brown.

Hi mum mum,
Have you got Rodney's parents death certificates or Rebecca's marriage certificate { if she got married}  ? If so is Rodney mentioned on them at all ?

The only BUTT with Rodney in the name I can find
John Rodney BUTT m Mary Veronica KILDUFF 1946 in Sydney,
They are on the Electoral Roll for 1949 at Surrey Street East Sydney. He is a Tobacco Worker.

There are still BUTT's in Albury.
Butts Smokehouse make the best smallgoods. Are you in contact with any of them ?

Application to the Supreme Court of NSW by a Mary Isabella Josephina Butt to disolve the marriage with Rodney Armour Butt formerly of Albury due to at least 3 years of desertion.

I spent a couple of hours looking on the Trove site  last night, I see from your search terms that I need to put his full name, I had tried Rodney Butt and couldn't find anything.
I will pass it on to Mary Josephine's grand daughter.
