leonard ellis married edith ----------? in malton,yorks and produced a single daughter doreen b15-12-1935. as far as is known all three were born in malton. have no confirmation of the date of marriage or ediths maiden name.

Thanks Diddy - Ain't sure he had a middle name "k" but still unable to find daughter Doreens birth to confirm her true parentage  -   unless she was illegitimate or her parents married later and somewhere other than Malton.

Are Leonard and Edith still alive? If not can you tell us when and where they died, it may help to pin them down

I have verified their deaths by visiting Malton churchyard. Leonard Ellis died 8-3-1970 aged 57. His wife Edith died 23-7-1991. There is no mention on the headstone of a second christian name.  There is one living daughter of that marriage b 15-12-1935. I have found no birth registration to match the potential mothers maiden name. A "pm"might be the appropriate form of response.
