ROGERS,
« on: Monday 15 November 10 18:10 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for any information on James Rogers who married a Nancy Unknown.  They had at least one child, James Rogers, who was supposed to have been born or lived in Donegal Ireland.  The child James was born in 1796 and moved to England and was a weaver and then moved to Nova Scotia, Canada where he married Sarah Miller.  I am assuming that the original James and Nancy would be from the Donegal region/area as well, but this is heresay.  Any help would be so much appreciated as I don't know how to get Irish census or anything else for that matter.  I know it isn't much to go on.  Looking forward to hearing from anyone.

Dawn

Unfortunately the information you are looking for is well before the dates of records such as civil registration and census and possibly before surviving church records.

Do you know where in Nova Scotia he settled? have you checked records there, including gravestone inscriptions, local histories, obituary in newspaper?
