Going through old posts and found this one - have you already found the information on this family that you were looking for earlier? Since then lots of Irish resources have come online.

However, the first complete census for all Ireland is 1901- only small fragments of earlier ones exist for a few areas- and 1881 census for Donegal does not survive.
