Look up Adelaide Thomas TAYLOR

Hello

I need help finding a Mr Thomas TAYLOR in Adelaide, South Australia.
This is the info i have so far:
Thomas TAYLOR was listed as the father to Ruby May Taylor FRANCIS
b. 23 FEB 1887, adelaide, Grote st
the mother listed as Lucy Alice FRANCIS (b. 23 JUN 1866, north adelaide)
I have no dates whatsoever for Thoma TAYLOR. he was listed on the birth certificate as being a Plasterer opn grote st, adelaide.
There was also no record of a marriage between thomas and Lucy.

Lucy Alice FRANCIS went on to marry Lycurgus McDonald in 1888, everyone i come accross thought that he was the father of Ruby, everyone from Ruby's decendants knew that he wasnt??

SA Directory (Sands) 1902

Taylor Thomas, plasterer, Orange Ln, Nrwd.

There were 9 Thomas Taylor in the 1902 directory but only 1 x plasterer.

Probably at Orange Lane Norwood.

The Advertiser Thursday 17th October 1912 p14,

A Thomas Stanley Taylor, plasterer of Parkside was fined for taking ferns.

If it is your Thomas Taylor we now might have his middle name as Stanley.

The Biographical Index of Sth Australia has the following T Taylor who is the only Plasterer I can find mentioned.   The Index is not always accurate but a good guide.
TAYLOR Thomas John, parent Thomas.  Born c1859 Nth Adelaide died 27.1.1946 Stepney SA, buried West Terrace Cemtery.
Occupation:  Plasterer, Builder, Contractor residing Norwood, Leabrook and Stepney.    Rel:  RC
married:  29.4.1889 Nth Adelaide to Mary Anne WALSH.  She was born 8.7.1862 Nth Adelaide to Michael & Margaret WALSH, nee Doody.   Mary died 4.3.1927 Leabrook SA.

I can't find a definate birth for Thomas John b.c1859 at Nth Adelaide with a father Thomas.

The children born to Thomas John & Mary Anne WALSH/WELSH were all born in Norwood, SA which is quite close to Adelaide.

thanks everyone for the info, i will add it all to my family tree documents. and hopefully I will find out who he definately was one day.
He may just be one of those annoying family mysteries
