I am the great-great-great-grandson of Russell Walker Grierson Ford.  She and David migrated to Australia in 1853/54, leaving Liverpool aboard the Birmingham on 3 October and arriving Melbourne on 2 January.  I am doing her family tree.

What is your interest in Russell?

David and Ruselle Tait were my husbands gggrandparents, I am still searching for information on the family, what is your connection? I may have information you do not have or vice versa, please advise.My husbands mother was Eunice TAIT.

I am a descendent through Russell's third child, Georgina Reid Tait.  She married William Henry Styles in 1883. 

I assume that your husband is descended from Russell's youngest child, David William Tait, born Darlington in 1865.  Am I correct?

Sorry I missed the question, David William TAIT was my husbands grandfather and Mary Jane Hetherington his grandmother.
