Florence & James Blackburn Help Please

Hello I am after some help and to be pointed in the right direction. My Nan was born Florence Amy Blackburn and I know my great-grandmother surname was Green (at the moment I cant remember her first name but have it somewhere) Before my nan passed away I can recall her saying to me she had a brother, sadly this had never been mentioned before and I am really keen to find my nans brother and family.

I am not from this area but I do know my nan was born in May 1923 in Leeds. I have since found a birth cert online in the name of James A Blackburn born 1921 in Leeds with mothers name of Green. Tho from heer I am unsure what to do next.

I do know my nan lived in Moorcombe as this is where my grandparnets married (married name Overton) and I know my great grandmother moved down south where I live. Not sure if this information will help.

Do you have a copy of Florence's birth cert showing her parents christian names?

There's a couple of Blackburn/Green marriages but I wonder if it is the 1919 entry on freebmd - Amos Blackburn to Alice Green

As his death was only 2005 - I am sending details via pm

Just as you sent the PM I found my nan's birth cert. Showing the father as William Arthur and mother Amy. With the fathers name and the information you sent it seems we have a match!!!
