Hi
Can anybody help I'm looking for Joseph Arthur Kennedy I know that in 1926 he was a Army Pensioner. I believe that some time between 1911 and 1921 he married Frances Lee who had a daughter called Violet Kate Lee ( 1911 census East Preston ) Violet Kate then moved to Burwell in Cambridgeshire and married george Barton in 1926 I don't know what happened to her parents.

Do you have an age for him or place of birth.
There is a Joseph Arthur Kennedy army record but he was from Ardwick,Manchester born 1880

Hi,
Don't know if this helps or not; Frances Lee was born in 1876 at Stoughton, Sussex, Violet Kate born 1903 in Worthing, Sussex. Frances was one of 8 children and her mother's maiden name was Silverster. Frances's mother was named Mary and in 1881 she was a widow looking after her 8 children.

I now have good information on the Lee side of my family, but have hit a brickwall with the Kennedy side. I have a marriage certificate for Violet Kate Kennedy maiden name Lee who I believe is the step daughter of Joseph Arthur Kennedy which states he was an army pensioner in 1926 . I have not been able to find any records for Joseph Arthur Kennedy , Help!!!!!
