Hi

I have converted it to PDF and attached. Be warned, it is not terribly easy to follow as it just sort of sprouted from about 4 pages.

In summary, it all started in the parish of Kilmaurs , Scotland and despite the plethora of Bankhead place names all over Scotland, the family at some point in 16th cent seems to have taken it's name from Bankhead near there - the present village of Springside. Question is, where did they come from before that ?

Where possible, the National Archive data sources are quoted.

Happy reading
