Hi
John, Evan, William and Margaret Eames were buried in same grave at Glanadda in 1886, 1887, 1909 and 1919 respectively. The grave was then full.
Info on William previously supplied:
John buried 14/12/1886, aged 16, of 5(?) Ambrose St. Hirael, Bangor;
Evan buried 02/04/1887, aged 11, of 52(?) Ambrose St.;
Margaret buried 12/03/1919, widow, aged 74, of 43 Fountain Street.

Moses was buried in the new cemetery near Llandygai:
Moses Henry Eames, Railwayman, buried 26/10/1935, aged 51. His residence was 24 Ffordd Tegid, Bangor, place of death C & A Infirmary.
Might have died as result of an accident. I've seen reference to 2 workers being struck by a train in a tunnel at Bangor. Will check it out, and also see if I can locate the graves so as to record the inscriptions - might take time.
Will carry on with part 3 of my previous posts seperately.
Emyr

Hi,
Part 3.
1911 Census, Margaret Eames at Slate Yard Cottage, Menai Bridge, Widow, Visitor, aged 67, born Bangor.
She is staying with, it appears, her daughter Ellen(aged 42) and son in law John Edwards(50), and their 8 children ranging from 19 years to 9 days old. One of the children has the name William Eames Edwards. Perhaps she's there, rather than with Dorothy in Club Street because of the recent birth. Place of birth of John and children, Anglesey, Llandysilio(?). John's employment status is worker, a Writing Slate Manufacturer.

Moving back to Llanengan:
There's a birth recorded in Parish Register - 19/03/1875  Jane, daughter of Evan Emes, Mariner and Mary, of Trwyn y Garreg. Also from BMD, a marriage Q1 1875, Pwllheli Registration District between Evan Emes and Mary Parry.

Hi, RE: 1911 Census where Margaret Eames is a visitor at daughter Ellens house 'Perhaps she's there, rather than with Dorothy in Club Street because of the recent birth' Aside from the joy at visiting a new grand daughter- Margaret was also actuallyand interestingly a trained midwife herself.

Having searched the Parish records I was extremely disappointed not to find any record in Llanengan of the marriage of William Eames and siblings parents John (born c1811) and Ellin/Eleanor (born c1816) Emes. Does anyone have any further information to go on? Perhaps they were married in a neighbouring parish or even else where?
There was one new record found- a death in 1835 of a Mary Eames at the age of 74- a possible family relation, the mother of John perhaps?

Hi Law 81,  There is a christening record on family search.org i.e. John Eames christening 1 Jan  1808 Llanengan father John Thomas mother Mary Eames.  Could this be the Mary Eames death ref in 1835/

Hi Emyr,
I have the marriage and birth cert for Henry Emes, as it's the line I'm following.  Would the details be of use to your research? All I have on Evan is marriage ref.  Haven't found anything on him since that date.  Ellin Eames has her grandson with her  i.e. Owen Eames.  My guess is father John Eames, but again no info found on John Eames. It's possible Evan and John were lost at sea and what of Moses Eames b 1847/48.  Henry's marriage states sailor, but 4 yrs later he is on dry land for rest of his life!
Owen Eames b Q3 1867  Pwllheli 11b 482  married Ann Jones  Q3  1892  Pwllheli  11b 608
