That shows a John Jones at that address in a 1870 directory.  He is also there in the 1871 census.

Thanks for the info. I have come across another John Jones born 1810 the youngest of nine children born to Robert Jones and his wife Margaret.The John Jones I was thinking of was born in Wales  :-\
