Hello and welcome to rootschat.
You don't give any dates for your family nor what information you already have so it is a bit difficult  :-\

Here are some people of those names in the censuses

1901 http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Meath/Kells/Newmarket_Street/1613324/

1911 http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Meath/Kells_Urban/Newmarket_Street/719452/

Here is some information about Irish records

best wishes

Thank you for your repla, yes these are my family its Patrick born around 1846 that I cant find I have tried the Parish Office and they were very helpfull but there is no record of him in the Parish records so I tried the National Library Parish records as the ones in Kells were a bit destroyed over the years .  I have also tried Family Search no joy and the local papers of the time also the Headfort papers for the Headford Estate I found the rentals of the time but no births or any other information that would help me.
If  you or anybody can come up with any information that could help me I would be very grateful

It might be worth widening your search to adjacent parishes, in case Patrick came from somewhere outside Kells originally.

Thank you I'am going to look up family search to see if I can match a birth for both Patrick & Peter in the same area there was a mention of Belfast so the records are better up there so I might have a chance I was hoping somebody might remember my family in Kells and have some other information.

Hello again,

Patrick states that he was born County Meath in both 1901 and 1911 censuses and Margaret states Meath in 1901 and Cavan in 1911.
Looking at the children in 1901 there is a Lizzie Keenan 12 yrs and Alice McPartland stepdaughter 12 yrs. Sometimes are inaccurate by a couple of years but this would indicate that Patrick and Margaret were married after 1889.

There is a Bethana Partland born 1884 Oldcastle district which would fit with 1901 census. Similarly, there is an Alice -1887  :-\ Oldcastle.

However, I can't see a marriage for a Patrick Keenan to Margaret McPartland  :-\ I was hoping that if there was a marriage, you would get Patrick's father's name.

regards
heywood

This may be a red herring but there is a Michael Keenan in Farrell Street Kells in Griffiths valuation http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/meath/kells.htm
- this is just close to New Market Street where Patrick is in 1901/1911.  (Google map)
