Not sure if they were 'active' at those dates but Swansea Corporation (now the city council) has cemeteries at Morriston and Cwmgelli. A further corporation cemetery was at Danygraig (definitely open) though a little further away.

Morriston opened in 1915 and Cwmgelli in 1896. (Danygraig in 1856).

Spot on Bev. And please produce a doctor's certificate to say why you weren't at the local history book fair at Swansea today.   ;)

Aaaaah! I'd planned to go, but forgot until 3 o'clock and then it was too late to get there! I'm kicking myself, because I was looking for something to do all day. After spending all week decorating my front room, I wanted some relaxation, and browsing at the book fair would have been perfect.

Please let me know when there's another one, because it was only on Friday that I knew about this one when I saw a flyer on a shop window.

I think I need memory training.  ???

Hope you are well Bernard - see you next time.  :)

We had a table and sold a few Pals (4) and Foul Deeds (8 ). Not as many as last year though the event was busier. Last year there was a clash with a family history event and the weather was worse than this.

I'll try and remember to remind you next year; its usually late Oct/early Nov.

See you in the library sometime!
