Many Thanks to you all. Keyboard86 hit the right note, although Ancestry has missed to transcribe the surname. I found the entry and that is them, several children I did not know about, but Walter and Elizabeth, the Mrs Parker, were listed. Brother and sister 11 years apart. Once again many thanks to you all, query solved. MIK.

well found Keyboard - I suspected it was an Ancestry-oriented problem  :(

Find this Family (shown in the 1881 Census @ RG11; Piece: 2550; Folio: 142; Page: 2 Avening) - in the 1891 census, might be what you need to ID Walter born c1884, Avening.

I could see that Sarah should have been around as her death wasnt until 1897 - and James Parker Ryland was a visitor in Oxfordshire....

Re: Richard Ryland 1799 Marriage

I have the same details, except the marriage was on 25 (not 10) November 1799.  His name is transcribed as "Hyland", not "Ryland", but the spouse of Ann Lewis is the same.  The details are:

Register Ref: P154/12, page 63
in St Mary de Lode , Gloucester, Gloucestershire.
