I'm looking for any information on a John Aspell, he was I think an Architect and designed some of the houses on the mentmore estate owned by the Rothchildes in the mid 1800's.

He was clerk of works too

I had a quick look on the 1881 census and can't see a likely candidate. I don't suppose you have any idea of his date and place of birth?

They were in Edmonton/Tottenham in 1881 (John C Aspell) b.1853 DESFORD, Leicestershire
