Drenniston, Ballybrackin???
« on: Thursday 28 October 10 00:38 BST (UK) »
I have an obit, in Liverpool, and it listed the deceased as being from Drenniston, Ballybackin, Ireland.  I also have a census that says she's from Belfast.  Her husband was from Balefast, so she may have relocated, was never there at all and it's a census error, or maybe Drenniston is near Belfast.

Does this location mean anything to anyone?

Thanks!!!

There's a townland called Ballybracken (Kilbride Parish) near Ballynure in Co. Antrim but it's not the only one in Ireland (there's one in Co. Kildare and possibly others).

Added- the image actually says DRENNINSTON.

Sounds logical since there's also a Ballybracken there.

Ballybracken townland in Co. Antrim- no townland called Drenninstown marches it and none by that name in Kilbride civil parish-
