This might not lead directly to your ancestors as the Nugents appeared to have been highly prolific, but no Nugent search is complete without looking at the amazing work of Francis Nugent Dixon and his site www.nugent.fr.
It is not the easiest site to move around so carefully try to follow all tabs and very complete diagrams will appear going back to the 900s.

Hi from Beautiful Brittany,

Thanks for your glowing reference to my work on my nugent.fr site.
After 10 years hard research, I am now developing a novel about the early Nugent family.
It is a great reward to know that someone has appreciated my work
I note that you found it hard to move about my site - Point taken - Work in progress !

Very Best Regards

Francis
