Where would I get informationon on a buriel at sea on a Cargo Boat out of Northern Ireland around 1900-1911

All Ireland was part of the U.K. at that period so you could try Marine Register of Deaths- death would normally be registered at next port so there might be problems finding a record if the ship was registered or going to a foreign country.
Find My Past have Deaths At Sea 1854-1890 but not sure if later records are available online.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for
some time
many years!

I had a searcher look the Marine records but found nothing,wondering if anything had come on line I will have a look at the other thanking you for your help

You could try The National Archives, Kew, Richmond, Surrey, England. TW9 4DU they have a lot of Irish records. also The Public Records Office of Northern Ireland, 66 Balmoral Avenue, Belfast, BT9 6NY, Northern Ireland

PRONI is actually closed until April 2011 as they are in the process of moving to a new location at Titanic Quarter in Belfast but the e-catalogue is still available online.

You could also try The National Library of Ireland, Kildare Street, Dublin 2, Ireland. e-mail info(a)nli.ie (change the (a) for a (@) up to about 1922 there was no north or south just a whole ireland. Lots of records are kept at this Library.
