I have been tracing these families for sometime and wonder if anyone can give me some help.
James Alcock born Hanley, 1794 abt: Joiner, Elizabeth born 1795 abt: Burslem.
Son , John born 1816, Elizabeth born 1821, William born, 1826. James born1826, Thomas born 1829 & Yates born 1832. Living Sneyd Green, Abbey Hulton, Stoke-on-Trent. Taken from the 1841 Census.
They were living at the same address 1851 census, with the addition of Satnyer Alcock( Stanier) , he is added as a son , he is the grandson of James , head of house as is Emma Alcock, granddaughter.
1861, census , still living at the same address, with additions.
Is there anyone else tracing this family please.
Stanier married Mary Ann Wedgwood, states on certificate Father, unknown. He married into Wedgwood family , who are my relatives.
