Such common names doesn't help.

Hi Mariac,

No her death cert would provide very little else. SA certs are not very informative. Cause of death would probably be the only other thing you would get. Certainly nothing on parentage marriages or children. It is Adelaide District so you could request a transcript from the Unley Library. I still can't find anything on these boys unfortunately. No marriages - no deaths. I wonder what happened to them.

PORTER Christian was buried 28 Jul 1873 WTC. She was aged 50 of destitute asylum.

Ohh Goodness.

Destitute Asylum

PORTER Christina, protestant, been in the county 19 years arrived on the HERCULES in 1854. Scottish. Now living at Highercombe. Occ domestic She had 0 children under 7 and 4 children over 7 - Circumstances - permanently paralized and perfectly helpless to herself and family 3 sons and 1 daughter Highercombe. She was admitted 8 Apr 1873 and died 27 Jul 1873  :'(  :'(  :'(

Can only assume she had unregistered children as the ones she arrived with if surviving would have been adults.  :-\
